As a non-profit,
non-political volunteer women's service organization, we are dedicated to
preserving American history, securing America's future with better education,
and promoting patriotism. |
Founded in 1962, Captain
Nathaniel Mills Chapter NSDAR has more than 100 members from all walks of life
who have a variety of interests. Our common bond is our lineal descent from
Patriots of the American Revolution. We are passionate about community service,
preserving history, educating children, as well as honoring and supporting
those who serve our nation.
It is an exciting time to be a part of DAR, a society
founded on service. During this administration, we are commemorating the 100th
anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women
the right to vote. We are also preparing to celebrate our nation’s birthday as
we turn 250 in the year 2026. The Society’s goal is to reach a membership of
250,000. We hope you will join us and be part of the America 250! Initiative.
